1. IntroductionWelcome to Padel Smart Score Tracker (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Padel Smart Score Tracker mobile iOS application, including its companion features available on Apple Watch, and any related services we operate (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
Please read these Terms carefully along with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
2. EligibilityYou must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.If you are under 18, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
3. License to Use the AppWe grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
You may use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to tracking, scoring, and reviewing padel matches and training sessions, as well as viewing associated fitness metrics.
You must not:● Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content● Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code● Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws● Interfere with the App’s normal operation or security features.
3.1 Independent Apple Watch AppThe App may be installed and used either as:● A paired iPhone and Apple Watch experience, or● A standalone Apple Watch app
When used independently on Apple Watch, all data (including match scores, training sessions, and fitness metrics) is stored and processed locally on the Watch and is not synchronized with any other device.
When installed as part of a paired iPhone app, data is synchronized between the iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s secure system frameworks.
The same Terms of Use and privacy protections apply to both usage modes.
4. User Profiles, Nicknames, and AvatarsThe App does not require account registration or the submission of personal information.
Users may create a local, anonymous player profile that consists only of:
● A nickname that does not identify a real person● An avatar selected from a predefined list provided by the App● The player’s skill level, as selected by the user● Information about the player’s dominant hand (left or right)
Users cannot upload personal photos or use real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
Player profiles are not linked to a real-world identity and are used solely for displaying match and scoreboard information within the App.
Profile data is stored locally on the user’s device. Anonymous profile information may be temporarily transmitted through secure services to enable scoreboard and match result functionality, but it is not used to identify users and is not stored as personal data by us.
You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen nickname complies with these rules and does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others.
5. Matches, Training Sessions, and Scoreboard Functionality
5.1 Matches and Training Sessions
The App allows users to:
● Create and save competitive padel matches● Create and save training sessions● Save matches in progress as training sessions
All match and training data is stored locally on the user’s device.
5.2 Live and Interactive Scoreboard
During a match, the App displays a synchronized live scoreboard showing the score as tracked by the user who created the game.
In addition, the App provides an interactive scoreboard that allows users to track and update match scores without using an Apple Watch.
6. Sharing of Match ResultsSharing is optional and fully controlled by the user.
● Only match results may be shared● Training sessions are not shared● No personal or fitness data is shared● Match results are shared only with explicit user consent
Shared match results may include anonymous player nicknames, avatars, and players’ skill levels and are transmitted solely to enable interactive scoreboard functionality.
The App does not automatically publish, distribute, or publicly expose any match results.
7. Health and Fitness Data
If you grant permission, the App may access Apple HealthKit data such as heart rate, calories burned, and distance traveled.
This data is used solely to display fitness information within the App and is never uploaded, shared with other users, or used for advertising or analytics.
You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time via your device settings.
8. Location DataIf enabled, the App may access your device’s location services to record and display where matches and training sessions are played.
Location data is used solely to display match maps and to show the location of a specific activity on the relevant game and training pages. All location data is stored locally on your device.
You can disable location access at any time in your iOS settings.
9. Use of Firebase ServicesThe App uses Firebase, a service provided by Google LLC, to support secure transmission of match results and interactive scoreboard functionality.
Data processed via Firebase:
● Contains only anonymous, match-related information● Does not include personally identifiable information● Is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking users● Is processed solely to enable App functionality
Firebase is used in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Google’s data processing terms.
10. Intellectual PropertyAll intellectual property rights in the App, including software, design, trademarks, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to us.
You are granted no rights other than the limited license set out in these Terms.You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
11. User ResponsibilitiesYou agree to use the App only for lawful and intended purposes.
You must not:● Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App● Interfere with App functionality or security● Use nicknames or shared content that is offensive, misleading, or unlawful● Attempt to identify or impersonate other users
We reserve the right to restrict access if these Terms are violated.
12. No WarrantyThe App and all related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App or its features.We do not guarantee that:● The App will function without interruption or error,● The App will be compatible with every device or system version, or● Data transmitted through the App will always be delivered without delay or loss.To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the App.
14. TerminationWe may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
15. Changes to the App or TermsWe may update the App, its features, or these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect when they are posted within the App or on our website.Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and JurisdictionThese Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App’s developer is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Mandatory consumer protection laws may also apply depending on your location.
